PIZZA TIME

Instructions for your Grizzly Pizza Kit 🍕

We recommend using your dough the day you receive it

THINGS YOU WILL NEED

Baking paper

Pizza stone (ideally, but a thick oven tray will do)

Flour for dusting

A clean work surface

An hour before you want to eat you’re gonna need to do 2 things:

  1. Take your pizza dough container out of the fridge. This will let it come to room temp, making it easier to shape

  2. If you have a pizza stone (or tray), place it in the oven now and turn your oven on as high as it goes on fan bake. All the way up. So high that for the next hour while it’s preheating, you’re gonna smell all the cake batters and roast drippings that you didn’t clean off the bottom of the oven for the last year, but that’s on you.

When your oven is ready and your dough is at room temp, dust your work surface heavily with flour. Take your dough ball out of it’s container and completely cover it in flour. If it gets tacky while you stretch it out use more flour, we don’t want it sticking.

Starting in the middle of the dough and working outwards, gently press out the dough with your fingers, keeping a 1cm border of unpressed dough at the edge. Rotate the dough a little bit at a time and remember to use more flour if needed.
Keep stretching until the dough is 30cm in diameter.

Pick up your dough carefully and place it on a square of baking paper.

Empty your pizza sauce container into the middle of your dough and spread it evenly across the dough with the back of a spoon, keeping a 1cm border around the edge. Sprinkle the cheese on and top with herbs.

Use the baking paper to help slide your pizza onto a cool sheet pan. Open your oven door and slide the pizza and paper onto your pizza stone.

Set a timer for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes check on your pizza and remove the baking paper. If your oven is super hot (300) it will only need 2-3 more minutes.
