GRIZZLY “CREATE A COOKIE COMPETITION” TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Entry

  1. Entry is open to all children living in Christchurch aged 18 and under (at time of competition close). The permission of a Parent or Legal Guardian is required to enter.

  2. This competition is open to residents of Christchurch only.

  3. Entries close at 11:59pm on Wednesday, 1st July 2020. Entries submitted after this date will not be accepted.

  4. You may enter more than once with a different flavour. Each entry must be made separately.

  5. For an entry to be accepted, it must include the following:

    1. The entrant’s name and contact details.

    2. A flavour concept. 

    3. A cookie name.

Judging

  1. The base recipe for the cookie will be developed by Grizzly.

  2. Grizzly will announce the winner on Thursday, 2 July 2020. 

  3. A panel of judges selected by Grizzly will judge the entries to decide the Winner. 

  4. The judging criteria are: taste, originality, and visual creativity.

  5. All judges' decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding these decisions.

  6. Grizzly reserves the right to amend any of the criteria at any time.

Prizes

  1. Only the person who originally entered the competition can be awarded the prize (the Winner).

  2. The Winner will receive the following prize: 

    1. Their creation will be produced as a limited release cookie by the team at Grizzly, and sold in Grizzly stores.

    2. A box of cookies to share with their school class, exact numbers to be agreed upon between Grizzly and The Winner.

    3. A cookie a week for a year (52 weeks) to be collect from either 33 Buchan Street, Sydenham, or 22 Welles Street, City Centre, 

Additional Terms

  1. The Winner agrees to Grizzly using their names and photos for promotional purposes.

  2. No prize or part of a prize can be transferred to another person.

  3. No prize or part of a prize is exchangeable for cash, tickets or services. 

  4. By submitting an entry to the “Create a Cookie” competition, the entrant agrees to transfer ownership of their Intellectual Property Rights in the entry to the Grizzly. This includes the name, flavour, and the artwork. Grizzly reserves the right to use these for any purposes Grizzly deems appropriate, including but not limited to chocolate production, publicity and marketing materials. You warrant that your entry: 

    1. will not infringe the Intellectual Property Rights, privacy or any other rights of any third party;

    2. will not contain anything which is untrue, defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening;

    3. do not violate any applicable law or regulation (including any laws regarding anti-discrimination or false advertising);

    4. are not obscene or pornographic;

    5. do not, to the best of the your knowledge, contain any viruses or other computer programming routines that are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information;

    6. are free from any encumbrances such that we may use the entry in accordance with and in the manner set out in these Terms and Conditions.

  5. Unless otherwise stated, Competition entries will not be returned to you.

Acceptance

  1. Participation in the competition is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

  2. If the Winner does not accept these Terms and Conditions, their prize will be forfeited.
